Charleston Young Professionals Mentor Program Details

THE PROGRAM:
The purpose of the CYP Mentor Program is to foster meaningful professional relationships between members of the Charleston Young Professionals and business leaders in the tri-county region. This six month program matches young professionals with experienced professionals for guidance and support, while offering mentors an opportunity to strengthen ties with the young, future leaders of the community.

THE MENTORING RELATIONSHIP:

The CYP Mentor Program allows both young and experienced professionals the opportunity to develop a dynamic relationship from which both mentors and mentees benefit. Mentors are invaluable resources in helping to guide and provide advice based upon their experiences. A partnership between mentors and mentees must be developed in order to promote a good mentor relationship – the more committed the relationship, the more satisfaction is gained. Building professional and social relationships with each other is accomplished through monthly meetings and CYP Mentor Program events.
